Health & Wellbeing

At Beechboro PS, student wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. Our whole-school approach is supported by the You Can Do It! Education program, which helps students build confidence, resilience, persistence, organisation, and strong social skills. These five values guide behaviour, relationships, and decision-making across our school.

To further support the diverse needs of our students, we offer a dedicated wellbeing team that includes a school psychologist and a student wellbeing officer. Our School Psychologist provides specialised assessment, intervention and consultation services two days each week. Our wellbeing officer works each week in our school providing pastoral care for students through individual support, group activities and a range of programs. Together, they provide targeted support, early intervention, and guidance for students and families, ensuring that every child feels safe, supported, and ready to learn.

We have a dedicated Aboriginal and Islander Education Officer who works with staff, students and families throughout our school supporting our indigenous students and offering cultural guidance and learning throughout the school. We host termly meeting with our Aboriginal Advisory Group to gain the perspectives and knowledge of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander parents and families.

Starting 2026, a School Breakfast Club operates five days a week (8:10am- 8:30am) which allows our students to begin each day with a great start. We encourage our students to eat healthy and are proud to be involved in the Crunch N Sip program.

Throughout the year our students are offered different lunch time clubs to participate in. Some of these include Chess Club, Lego Club, Library Reading and our much-loved World Cup Soccer.

Beechboro Primary School is fortunate to have a Dental Therapy Centre located onsite. The school dental service offers free general and preventative dental care for all enrolled students. All enquiries are to be made directly to the Dental Therapy Centre (call 08 9377 5344).

At Beechboro PS, we are committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and caring environment where every student can thrive.
